Your Date

She’s not good enough for you. He treats you like dirt. She cheats. He steals. She’s a gold-digger. He’s got an STD. She’s a he. He’s your cousin.

These (sometimes ridiculous) truths may be unpleasant for you to hear. But you just can’t seem to see that they’re not right for you. Good relationships are not abusive; they’re caring. They are not “you do all the work I’ll go watch TV”; they’re a team effort. They’re not disposable; they’re a commitment.

Looks like I’ve scared some of you off. Good. If you have a date that sucks and can’t recognize it, that’s just cruel to yourself and the people that actually do care for you. Maybe you were dropped on your head at some point in your life, because if you can’t see how stupid/violent/annoying/lewd/awful s/he is/acts/treats you, then you have some serious problems.

Maybe you deserve getting into a bad relationship if you’re too stupid to know when to get out of it.

Your Date Needs To Die. Before the jerk turns into Your Fiancee or Your Partner or Your Angry, Stressed Domestic Abuser.

No, I don't want any popcorn. Yes, I see that you cut a hole out of the bottom of the carton.

  1. I agree. Bad dates need to die – but be kept nearby, like a skeleton in a closet to parade around for random entertainment.

Are you aware that you’ve linked my blog in your picture?
